Town of New Glarus Parks Commission Announces Photo Contest Winners

The winners for student photographers are: Noah Dalsing (1st Place), Adam Marty (2nd Place) and Kyle Kempfer (3rd Place).
On May 22nd, the Town of New Glarus Parks Commission awarded prizes for its second-annual Photo Contest. This year's theme was Barns and Farm Buildings of Green County, on which we received nearly twenty excellent entries. This barn photo was the winner in the adult category. The photo is by Stephanie Tews.
Student photographers Noah Dalsing (1st Place), Adam Marty (2nd Place) and Kyle Kempfer (3rd Place) won prizes of $200, $100 and $50, respectively. Adult winner Stephanie Tews garnered a $300 prize.
The Parks Commission would like to thank all participants for their submissions. We are especially grateful to our incredible judges, Stephanie Essex-Elkins, Bill Schmidt and Kim Tschudy, for their time and expertise. Finally, we'd like to thank New Glarus Art Teacher Alison Winters Hanson for her continued support of our project. She has been wonderfully instrumental in making this project come to life.
