On Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 5:24 p.m., the Belleville Police Department was notified of a driving complaint where a subject witnessed the suspect having difficulty parking, nearly hitting a light post in a business parking lot. The suspect was observed having trouble maintaining his balance, nearly falling several times after exiting his vehicle.

Contact was made with the suspect and further investigation led to the arrest of Paul M. Elsner, 58, New Glarus, on a Felony charge of Operating While Intoxicated – 6th Offense. Elsner was incarcerated in the Dane County Jail pe...
