Green County 4-H Youth Participate in Foods Revue

Members of the Green County 4-H Foods & Nutrition project recently participated in the annual Foods Revue event on Saturday, March 9th, at the Green County Justice Center. Foods Revue is considered a Pre-Fair event of the Green County Fair and is judged by a licensed fair judge with ribbons being awarded to the youth.
Youth are divided into four levels based on grade and can bring one food item to be judged at the Foods Revue. Examples of project options this year were breakfast muffins, invent a snack, baked pasta, and homemade soup.
This year's participants were Madilyn Arnold (Spring Grove Honest Workers), Maddie DeMuth (Cheese Country Clovers), Mara Dickson (Browntown Busy Beavers), Skye Dickson (Browntown Busy Beavers), Danika Doll (Dougherty Creek), Peter Goers (Washington Center), Emily Goers (Washington Center), Ayvah King (Next Generation), Leilah King (Next Generation), Timothy Leslein (Next Generation), Alexander Murray (Next Generation), Spencer Rufer (Next Generation), Christy Schlueter (Dayton Dairylanders) and Mirielle Smith (Washington Center).
Best of Show Results were as follows: Level A - Ayvah King; Level B – Leilah King; Level C – Danika Doll.
