Alvin Ott Scholarships Presented

Emma Eicher and Jessiah (Jesse) Tetner, 2018 graduates of New Glarus High School, each received a check for $1,000 from the Alvin Ott Scholarship Fund. Emma is attending University of Wisconsin – Madison studying Microbiology. Jesse is also attending University of Wisconsin – Madison, studying Business.
Alvin Ott, a former President of The Bank of New Glarus, established this fund in 1981 so that young people from our community will have the opportunity to continue their education. This fund remains possible, in part, due to the continued support of The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches.
Presenting the checks is John Ott, the grandson of Alvin Ott, and also a Director of The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches.
