The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches Upgrade as They Celebrate 125 Years
October 11, 2018
In conjunction with the celebration of serving our community for 125 years, The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches (BNG) is excited to announce that they are completing a conversion of their core banking system the last weekend of October. The core banking system performs many of their major banking functions, including the processing of deposit transactions, loan payments, tracking loan history, maintaining customer information, creating and mailing statements, maintaining our online and mobile banking, and much more.
“We’ve been in business for 125 years and we didn’t come this far without listening to the needs of our customers,” said Ron Schaaf, President and CEO of the bank. “After having reached a point where our core processing system was unable to meet the level of service and products that our customers deserved, we knew it was time for an upgrade.”
“As with any major computer software upgrade, adjusting to system changes may take some time to get used to, but we are working hard behind the scenes to provide our staff with the training and resources to better serve our customers and make this transition as seamless as possible,” added Schaaf.
For more information on the upgrade, customers are advised to stop by their local branch to speak with a Customer Service Rep or visit their website at http://www.thebankofnewglarus.bank/upgrade.
To celebrate The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches’ 125th anniversary, they are also inviting customers and other members of the community to visit any one of their locations on Tuesday, October 30th, for some cake and refreshments.
