AS Trenton Eisch, US Navy, New Glarus (left) was recently presented with a check from the Ben Jackson Memorial Fund by Ben's father, Larry Jackson.
The Ben Jackson Memorial Fund gave out its first monetary award this past weekend to AS Trenton Eisch, US Navy, of New Glarus.
Ben Jackson, an Airman First Class in the US Air Force, was killed in Japan as the result of a motorcycle accident on April 13, 2018. About seven weeks before he died, he surprised his family and friends with his first visit home in 14 months, and his first since arriving in Japan.
His family, supported by the generosity of the community, established a memorial fund to provide financial assistance to help young military service members visit home while on leave...
