Thurow Named to Carthage College Dean’s List 

Carthage College has named Jane Thurow, Monticello, to its Dean’s List for academic excellence during the spring 2018 term. Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

UW-Platteville Celebrates 200th Commencement

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville celebrated its 200th commencement ceremonies May 11-12, in Williams Fieldhouse. Graduating students received a special 200th tassel to represent the milestone ceremony.  Students from our area who earned their degrees include:  Erica Keehn, Albany, Agricultural Business; Emily Butters, Belleville, Engineering Physics; Logan Crooks, Monticello, Agricultural Business; and Courtney Feller, New Glarus, Elementary Education.
