Downtown Area Road Closures During New Glarus Firefest and Alphornman Triathlon

The New Glarus Firefest and Alphorn Triathlon will draw visitors to downtown New Glarus from Saturday, August 4th through Sunday, August 5th.
Please make note of the following road closures prior to traveling around downtown New Glarus during Firefest/Alphorn Triathlon weekend.
Saturday, August 4th – Fire Fest
4th Avenue (between 2nd and 3rd Streets) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until Midnight (12:00 a.m.).
Sunday, August 5th – Alphorn Triathlon
2nd Street (between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue) and 3rd Avenue (between Railroad Street and 2nd Street) will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. No parking on 3rd Avenue from 2nd Street to 3rd Street.
