New Glarus High School Earns High Ratings From US News and World Report

US News and World Report has released its rankings on the top high schools in Wisconsin and in the United States.  New Glarus High School received a Silver Ranking, and was ranked as the 35th best high school in Wisconsin.  New Glarus was the highest ranked school in the Capitol Conference and in Green County.

US News and World Report gave New Glarus High School a 39.6 College and Career Readiness score, which is up from a 34.9 score in 2017 and a 29.6 in 2014.  Advanced Placement performance is a key factor in the rankings. New Glarus High School has a strong Advanced Placement program, featuring AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Literature, AP Language and Composition, AP US History, AP Psychology, AP Government, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Computer Science. Last year, New Glarus High School students passed 91% of the AP exams that were given.
