More than 30 Belleville Wildcat football players, three team managers and coaches spent Sunday afternoon removing planting tubes from tree seedlings planted by the DNR in Community Park. Coach Tony Schmit contacted Tim Francois with Belleville Public Works for a community service project. "Our players are looking to do at least two community service projects each  year," said Schmit. The next community service project is a car wash from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on June 16, at the former Francois Ford Sales and Service on Main Street.
