Belleville School Board Members Observe Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy in Action

After the tour of the Intermediate School and the Elementary School, school board members and staff met to discuss what had been observed. A few weeks ago, Belleville school board members received an invitation to observe Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy in action at the Belleville Elementary and Intermediate Schools.

Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy is a school-reform project dedicated to increasing student achievement. The model uses literacy as a tool for measuring school change in four interrelated areas: student learning, teacher knowledge, school culture and school processes. The School District of Belleville started Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy in 2014.
