Join us for eight fun filled sessions of Flag Throwing. The Swiss Center of North America is proud to be sponsoring a youth flag throwing class, beginning March 12th, meeting Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at the New Glarus Middle School MPR room. The class is open to youth from Green County.
Flag tossing, or flag throwing, was brought to Green County by Robbie Schneider from Switzerland. Flag throwing has a long-standing tradition in Green County, being accompanied by the music of the alphorns, and this class passes it onto the next generation. Participants of the clas...
