Thoman Named to Dean’s List at UW-Superior

The University of Wisconsin-Superior has named Christina Thoman of Monticello to the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Fall 2017 semester.

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 degree-seeking semester credits and achieved at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

Dakota State 2017 Fall Honors List Released

A total of 504 full-time and 192 part-time students qualified for the President’s Academic Honors list for the 2017 fall semester at Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, S.D. Maxwell Cruse, New Glarus, achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to qualify for the honors list.

UW-Whitewater Announces Dean’s List

The following local students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean’s List for the 2017 fall semester: Claire Butters, Belleville; Samantha Christen, Belleville; Monica Francois, Belleville; Shea O’Malley, Belleville; Sadie Pattinson, Belleville; Nick Pauli, Belleville; Matthew Viney, Belleville; Skylar Eicher, Monticello; Jordan Garrison, Monticello; Aaron Hefty, Monticello; Bridget Craker, New Glarus; Kelli Kuschman, New Glarus; Alexandra Nealis, New Glarus; Maeci Roesslein, New Glarus; Emily Roska, New Glarus; and Landon Zimmerman, New Glarus.

These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

UW-Stevens Point Undergraduates Honored for Scholastic Achievement

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,260 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the Highest Honors designation.  High Honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and Honor recognition is given to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

Students who received honors include: Jordan Stefanik, Highest Honors, and Kyle Woyak, Honors, both of Albany.

Iowa State University Announces Fall 2017 Dean’s List 

Approximately 9,575 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2017 Dean’s List.  Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.  Colton S. Purdy, Industrial Design, Albany; and Britney E. Markhardt, Pre-Community and Regional Planning, Belleville, have been named to the Dean’s List.

UW-Green Bay Winter Graduates

Chancellor Gary L. Miller presided at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s 2017 fall/winter commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 16, in Cofrin Family Hall of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Hannah Blum, Monticello, Major in Spanish and Latin American Studies; and Breanne Parr, New Glarus, Master of Science in Sustainable Management, participated in the ceremony.
