In January of 2017, the Belleville Boys and girls varsity basketball teams with two of the bins of food donations that they raised together through December. All of the food was donated to Belleville's local food pantry.

The boys and girls Wildcat basketball teams, along with the Belleville Sports Boosters, teamed up with the American Family Children's Hospital for the "Hoops with Heart, Let's Do Our Part" fundraising campaign.
Sugar River Raiders named 2016-2017 Capitol South Conference Wrestling Champions for the second year in a row.
