The Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum in New Glarus, Wisconsin, received a grant for $4,311 from the New Glarus Community Foundation, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. to support their building restoration project.
The grant money will fund the repainting the first-floor storm windows on the west side of the building, replacing the decorative serpent eaves trough terminals, and repairing the front porch steps and railing. The Friends of the Chalet of the Golden Fleece, a group of volunteers that support the museum, applied for the grant online.
