The New Glarus School District welcomes three new teachers for the 2017-2018 school year.

Katie McBride

Katie is the new Middle/High School Library Director.  She graduated from UW-Madison.  Katie previously taught social studies and is currently attending graduate school at UW-Milwaukee and is studying for her Master's Degree in Library and Information Sciences.  In her spare time, Katie loves to read.  Welcome Katie!

Patrick Porwoll

Patrick will be joining our high school English department this year.  He graduated from UW-Madison.  Patrick previously taught at Racine Horlick High School.  Patrick is married and enjoys reading, writing, games, cycling, hiking, and cheering on the Badgers.  Welcome Patrick!

Megan Genens

Megan is our 5th Grade Intern this year. Megan is from Rockton, IL, and is currently attending UW-Whitewater for Education.  She will also be serving as our Cross Country Assistant Coach this year.  Welcome Megan!
