On Friday, August 11, 2017, at 3:46 p.m., the Dane County Sheriff's Department received a report of a three-vehicle, injury crash on STH 69 near Argue Road, in the Town of Montrose.  

The preliminary investigation indicated that a Ford Escape, driven by a 33-year-old female from Monroe, was southbound on STH 69 when she crossed the centerline and side-swiped a northbound semi truck, driven by a 54-year-old male from Waupun. John Marty, 79, New Glarus, was driving a Buick Verano northbound on STH 69, and could not avoid a collision with the Ford Escape as it continued into his lane. Marty...
