A Ribbon Cutting to will be held at the Railroad Street Boutique on Wednesday, June 28, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Having had its soft opening last month, Railroad Street Boutique in New Glarus has quickly become a new store that has everyone talking.
Social media has the newly opened store receiving "5 Stars!" with glowing reviews of "Great clothes and accessories! I love that I don't have to go to Madison to get a new outfit." and "A must see, beautiful! Railroad St Boutique is a great addition to New Glarus."
These comments are echoed as shoppers take in the store's unique urban meets modern vibe. "It is more than I ever imagined," exclaimed one excited customer. With its' high ceilings, open flow shopping cemented by brick wall displays with brown to gray hues the store gives customers a spacious yet intimate shopping experience.
"There is nothing like this in the area," said owner Brenda Siegenthaler. "We are proud of our new boutique. Our clothing and accessories lines are selected from fashion shows where we are able to view, touch and decide if it's right for our customers. We like the flexibility of being receptive to our customers and their suggestions of what they would like to see in the store. "
This personal touch and outstanding customer service has served Brenda and the community well, as Railroad Street Boutique becomes Brenda's third retail space in New Glarus.
"What started with a small display of jewelry (in Brenda's Blumenladen) continued with scarves, Vera Bradley, easy fit clothing and onto a variety of fashions," shared Brenda. "Women's clothing became a natural addition for our store as ladies would shop for floral, gifts and clothing for themselves. Soon we needed a fitting room and more space for the items customers were seeking."

Railroad Street Boutique owner Brenda Siegenthaler has put her considerable talents to work in her new store, which is already getting rave reviews from visitors.
Railroad Street Boutique has filled this need with a fresh new look, more space, two fitting rooms, quality fashion lines (Tribal, Karen Kane, Dear John, Papillon and Z Supply to name a few), Vera Bradley, Brighton, purses, jewelry, scarves, accessories and bath/body lines.
"Creating a great shopping environment was important," shared Brenda. "There is something for everyone. It is a tourist destination where locals can bring their friends and family. They often share that this is their favorite place to shop. One of my favorite moments was when three generations of ladies (grandmother, mother and daughter) entered the store and exclaimed, 'Wow! There is something for all of us here!' That was a satisfying moment of knowing we did it right."
With items arriving daily, the store always looks fresh, seasonal and up-to-date. Customers can shop seven days a week, Monday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., at 18 7th Avenue, New Glarus, and look for a "Grand Opening" later this summer.
