Green County 4-H Youth Participate in Foods Revue

Members of the Green County 4-H Foods & Nutrition project recently participated in the annual Foods Revue event on Saturday, June 10, at the Green County Justice Center. Foods Revue is considered a Pre-Fair event of the Green County Fair, and is judged by a licensed fair judge with ribbons being awarded to the youth.

Youth are divided into four levels based on grade and can bring one food item and one educational exhibit to be judged at the Foods Revue. Examples of project options this year were tailgate party meal, invent a snack, any food using watermelon, and a main dish salad.

This year's participants were Devri Bennett, Cheese Country Clovers; Simon Blohowiak, Washington Center; Hannah Broger, Washington Center; Mara Dickson, Browntown Busy Beavers; Skye Dickson, Browntown Busy Beavers; Katelyn Eyler, Washington Center; Emily Goers, Washington Center; Taetum Hoesly, Clarence Bridge Pioneers; Leilah King, Hiawatha; Alexis Moen, Browntown Busy Beavers; Marissa Vosberg, Young Americans; and Kierra Zahradka, Clarno.
