Fourth and fifth graders in Green County were invited to participate in the 2017 Wisconsin Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom essay contest. There were 69 local entries turned in for this year's contest that focused on "Cranberry Production in Wisconsin During One of the Four Seasons."
Winners of the 2017 Green County essay contest included: 1st Place: Kelsi Cameron, fourth grader from Juda Elementary; 2nd Place: Sadie Wilkins, fourth grader from Monticello Elementary; and 3rd Place: Ruby Brandt, fourth grader from Northside Elementary, Monroe.
