Local Severe Weather Safety and Spotter Classes to be Held

Green County Emergency Management announces that local severe weather/tornado spotters’ classes will be held Thursday, March 30. The first class will be at 12:30 p.m., at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th Street, Monroe, WI, and the second class is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., at the Brodhead Fire Department, 1100 West 3rd Avenue, Brodhead. Tim Halbach, Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, will be instructing the classes.
