Central Park is not only home to beautiful greenery and bike trails, but also to the Addams Family. Gomez Addams (Hunter Tierman) has lived here with his wife, Morticia Addams (Rebecca Barr), children, Wednesday (Grace Moen) and Pugsley (Madison Perkins), brother, Fester Addams (Cole Steiner), Grandma, (Aimee Kujak), and an unknown body named Lurch (Jacob Tetner) for a very long time. This family is happily reunited with their ancestors (Stacy Benoy, Tia Booth, Deedra Delforge, Kaedi Gregory, Demarious King, Stephanie Koch, Abby Marty, Alexis Pinkston, Tessa Sheridan, Emily Streiff, and Elizabeth Woerpel) who are brought to life to help Fester with a great task. As it turns out, Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a young Lucas Beineke (Justin Palmer) after meeting in the park. Fester decides not to let the ancestors back into their crypts until Wednesday falls in love. This task may not be as easy as it seems when the Addams need to have dinner with the Beinekes. As Alice Beineke (Margo Diener), an avid rhymer, and Mal Beineke (Michael Schieldt) meet the "sophisticated lifestyle" of the Addams they realize how different their families are. Meanwhile, Pugsley Addams is not a fan of this new man who is taking all of Wednesday's attention. He decides to take matters into his own hands by stealing one of Grandma's natural remedies called Acromonium and pouring it in the sacred family chalice for Wednesday to drink and fall out of love with Lucas. Unfortunately it is handed to Alice Beineke, who then becomes her true self. This leads to more chaos and calamity than anyone expected.

To see how this will end, and if Wednesday and Lucas will continue loving each other, see the New Glarus High School production of The Addams Family on Friday, March 17th, at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 18th, at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, March 19th, at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 and can be bought in the New Glarus High School Office throughout the week.
