Seeking Wisconsin's 2017 Hometown Kids

This could be you! Travel the Midwest and perform for nearly 120,000 this summer. Auditions take place soon at a location near you.
The Kids from Wisconsin will be holding auditions for their 49th season! Auditions will be held across the state: Sunday, February 19th, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at UW-Platteville, Center for the Arts. Friday, February 24th, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at UW-Eau Claire, Haas Fine Arts Building. Saturday, February 25th, 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., at Schofield, Mountain Bay Elementary School. Saturday, February 25th, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at UW-Green Bay, Studio Arts. Sunday, February 26th, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., at Milwaukee, Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
Auditioning for 20 singer/dancer positions and 13 instrumentalists for the iconic Kids from Wisconsin show troupe. Applicants must be 15-20 years of age and able to travel and perform this summer. Room/Board and per-diem provided, along with an excellent performing experience.

Thirty-three chosen performers will learn a fully staged, Broadway style production and travel across the state performing to over 120,000 people in the summer of 2017. The summer long tour will be a performance experience unlike any other.
The Kids from Wisconsin is part of an entertainment tradition that goes back nearly 50 years to its beginnings as a musical production created for Wisconsin's talented youth in 1969.
