Masonic Lodge Presents Scholarships to New Glarus Graduates

Trey Taylor, Peter Johnson and Vanessa Gassman were recently presented with their scholarships from the New Glarus Masonic Lodge #310 by Carey Schneider. Trey, the son of Curt and Renee Taylor, New Glarus, is majoring in Art at UW-Whitewater. Peter, the son of Terry and Deb Johnson, New Glarus, is majoring in General Business at UW-Whitewater. Vanessa, the daughter of Jenifer and Steve Gassman, is studying general studies at UW-Stevens Point.
The New Glarus Masonic Lodge #310 annually awards scholarships of $6,750 to graduating seniors from Belleville, Monticello and New Glarus. Last year the New Glarus Lodge provided funding for additional AEDs at the three school districts and continues a hearing aid assistance program.
