A Retirement/Farewell party was held on January 6, 2017, for Monticello Police Chief Tom Erb. The Monticello Village Board Room was crowded with people who stopped in to wish him well after more than 41 years of service to the Village of Monticello.

The Village Board approved a resolution on January 4, 2017, honoring Police Chief Erb and offering their warmest appreciation of the Board on behalf of the residents and businesses of the Village of Monticello for his many years of dedicated law enforcement service to the Village.
