The Belleville Community Health Improvement Program (BCHIP) is announcing a new fun run, Reindeer Rush - 2016, to be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016. We welcome participants of all ages and abilities. Beginning at Library Park in Belleville, the one-mile youth run will start at 9:00 a.m., and the 5K run/walk begins at 10:00 a.m. This is a project that Rev. Heide Walker Hackman, BCHIP President, began working on this past summer. Heide was hoping to create a holiday-themed run with a focus on community wellness. Though we have felt her loss in so many ways, BCHIP has decided to move ahead with her vision and will dedicate this run in her memory and the many great things that she has done for our community and for BCHIP.

Proceeds will benefit BCHIP and BCAP (Belleville Community Assistance Program). These funds will provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors, help support the Belleville High School post-prom party, provide assistance for families in need in the Belleville area, and sponsor events promoting the health and well-being of the entire Belleville community.
