This weekend, the annual Wilhelm Tell Festival will be held in New Glarus. Inspired by the vision of Edwin Barlow, a world traveler of the early 1900′s with New Glarus roots, the Wilhelm Tell pageant has been proudly presented on Labor Day Weekend since 1938 by New Glarus residents. The festival includes the pageant, held at the Wilhelm Tell Grounds on CTH W, east of the village, as well as many activities in the village of New Glarus.
