Dane County Sheriff’s deputies and Belleville Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on CTH PB and State Highway 69, in the Town of Montrose, at about 8:50 p.m., the night of Thursday, August 18, 2016.

A 1994 Buick Park Avenue, operated by Turk D. Olson, 55, New Glarus, had rear-ended a 2010 Dodge Avenger at the intersection. But when deputies began speaking with Olson, they smelled intoxicants and asked him to perform field sobriety tests. Olson was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 4th Offense. He was also cited for Inattentive Driving and Operating After Revocation.

There were no injuries sustained in the crash. Olson was being held in the Dane County Jail.
