Ross Hampton, Connie Jameson, Sandra Lacy, and Dale Yurs, along with Brooklyn residents Russell Cazier and Linda Kuhlman, were awarded plaques on June 1, 2016, in recognition of completing the Belleville/Brooklyn Police Citizen's Academy. The goal of the program is to increase understanding among area residents and law enforcement.
