New Glarus Sixth Graders Enjoy the Experience of a Lifetime

The sixth grade class, along with chaperones and staff, made their 52nd annual trip to Wyalusing during the beautiful third week of May.

Before getting to Wyalusing State Park, the group stopped at Stonefield Village, in Cassville, to tour the home and farmstead of Wisconsin's first governor, Nelson Dewey, enjoy country school lessons first hand, watch a blacksmith at work, and enjoy a delicious ice cream cone! The funds for this portion of our trip were made possible by a grant received from the New Glarus Community Foundation.
