Workers Overcome by Carbon Monoxide

On Tuesday, April 19, Emergency Personnel were called to the New Glarus Home, where construction workers who had been doing demolition were overcome by carbon monoxide. Four of the workers were transported to area hospitals, one other worker declined to be transported. According to authorities, residents and New Glarus Home employees were never in any danger. New Glarus Area EMS units 875 and 876, New Glarus Fire Department, New Glarus Police and Belleville EMS responded the scene.
