Outdated or non-working electronics will be accepted at the Recycling Center on Saturday, April 16, from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The Recycling Center is located behind the Swiss Heritage Cheese Factory on East Coates Avenue.

The following is a list of accepted items, and the cost to you to recycle them: Desktop Computers (base), $2.00 each; Desktop Printers (including printers combined with fax, scanners and copiers), $5.00 each; Computer Peripherals (including keyboards, mouse, hard drives, scanners, speakers, flash drives, external modems and other devices), $1.00 each; Fax Machines, $5.00 each; DVD players, VCRs and DVRs, $2.00 each.

Televisions and computer monitors will also be accepted, with the cost to recycle based on the size of the screen. For CRT tube type TVs and monitors, the costs are as follows: 17” or less, $10.00 each; 17”-30”, $15.00 each; 31”-60”, $25.00 each; over 61” and projection TVs, $50.00 each.

Flat screen televisions, computer monitors and laptop computers recycle costs are as follows: 17” or less, $5.00 each; 17”-30”, $10.00 each; 31”-60”, $15.00 each; over 61”, $35.00 each.
