Public Meeting for Disch Road in Green County
Meeting to focus on Hefty Creek Bridge Replacement

Green County Highway Department and the Town of Washington are conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss the current and future needs for the Hefty Creek Bridge Replacement on Disch Road, from Hefty Road to Farmers Grove Road, in Green County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Town of Washington Town Hall, W6113 County C, Monticello, Wisconsin. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The County and Township is seeking the public’s input on proposed preliminary alternatives to address the current and long-term needs of the structure. The existing structure on Disch Road, over Hefty Creek, is structurally deficient and in need of replacement.
Adjacent property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting. Citizens who are hearing impaired and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Jesse Duff at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay system (dialing 711).
