The Belleville Police Department will host its fifth Citizens Police Academy this spring. The goal of the Academy is to increase understanding between area residents and law enforcement. The Academy is designed to provide people with an understanding of police operations. Students will learn from trained personnel both in the classroom and in hands-on participation. Students will be taught aspects of law, use of force, and current drug trends.
