Hospice is a special type of caring that focuses on living fully to the end of life, and supporting patients and families experiencing a life limiting illness. Volunteers are an important part of the hospice interdisciplinary team that supports patients and families. Volunteers assist the hospice program in many ways, ranging from direct patient contact to administrative support and fundraising. Volunteers are asked to provide only those services they are comfortable with.
