The New Glarus Historic Preservation Commission and the New Glarus Community Development Authority (CDA) teamed up on Sunday, March 6, to present a one-hour program on the potential of establishing two National Register of Historic Places, historic districts in New Glarus.

One of the districts would consist of portions of 1st and 2nd Street homes that are either individually significant or contributing structures that would comprise the residential district. The second, a commercial district, would consist of the buildings on the 400 block of Second Street.
