The Belleville High School class of 1965 made a float for the homecoming parade including the original Wildcat mascot. This year is their 50th class reunion. One of the classmates, Peggy Mueller, entered a contest for the Wildcat mascot, and her Wildcat won in 1965. The Wildcat you see standing pouncing is her Wildcat and has been the Wildcat for 50 years.
