The New Glarus Lions Club is heading up a collection of small playground sports equipment and activity gear for New Glarus Schools in September. Items on the wish list include jump ropes, small hula hoops, soccer balls, Four Square balls, small footballs, and foam Frisbees. With 400 children heading out for recess (2-3 times) each day, the playground equipment gets heavy use and needs frequent replacement.
