Homicide and Officer Involved in Shooting in Monroe

 


On July 22, 2015, at 7:15 p.m., Monroe Police were called to a trailer at 720 17th Street, on Monroe’s near west side, for a report of two people being shot. The first Officers on the scene found two Hispanic males shot in a trailer at that location. One male was believed shot fatally, which was later confirmed, the other seriously wounded. The wounded male was taken to the Monroe Clinic Hospital. The person who had done the shooting was described as also a Hispanic male, who fled on foot from the scene.
