UW-Platteville Awards Spring Semester Diplomas
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville awarded diplomas to more than 700 graduates after the spring 2015 semester. Commencement ceremonies were held May 8-9.
Area graduates included: Michael Elmer, Agricultural Business, Albany; Brandon Pfeuti, Agricultural Business, Albany; Erin Eastlick, Psychology/Criminal Justice, Belleville; Courtney Hurd, English, Belleville; Christopher Voegeli, Animal Science, Monticello; and Robyn Hellenbrand, Health and Human Performance, New Glarus.
Johnson Receives Degree From UW-River Falls
Dylan Johnson, Albany, was among the 786 students to receive degrees during spring commencement at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications.
Alsteens Earns Central College Scholarship
Parker Alsteens, Belleville, received a Presidential Scholarship from Central College due to a high commitment to academic achievement. Alsteens will be a first-year student this fall at Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Local Students Named to Carroll University Dean’s List Spring 2015
Tanner Wallom, Belleville, and Taylor Johnson, New Glarus, have been named to the Dean’s List at Carroll University for the spring 2015 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average for the semester of at least 3.5 on a 4-point scale.

Schluter Selected to University of Minnesota Twin Cities Dean’s List
Bethany E. Schluter, New Glarus, has been named to the 2015 spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, the university announced today. Schluter is a Freshman in the university’s College of Education/Human Development.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.
