On April 13 and 14, Monticello students Kody Klitzke, Ben May and Dezmond Hanenberger attended the State FBLA Leadership Conference in La Crosse, WI. While there, the members attended leadership assemblies and breakout sessions, competed in events, voted for leadership, and witnessed a BMX bike show.
Keynote speaker for the event was Amanda Hammett, whom members got to work with in breakout sessions. She was impressed by how well the Monticello students were dressed, and shared a picture on social media. Lastly, Kody Klitzke, who had advanced past Regionals in Personal Finance, took third at the state meet, qualifying him for the National FBLA Conference.
Congratulations to Kody, and to all the boys, thank you for representing Monticello so well.
