The School District of Belleville is participating in Money Smart Week. On Thursday, April 23, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Belleville Elementary School, students will be participating in the Big Read event. A book will be read to the students about financial literacy by Superintendent Pam Yoder. Ray Allen, Secretary of Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, will be present for the reading and talking to students about financial literacy.
High school students from Mr. Erik Farrar’s business education class will be presenting lessons about money in each elementary classroom that day.
This Big Read event will be streamed live on the school district website. This event is made possible through a partnership with CBM Education Foundation and Bill Wilcox; Union Bank & Trust and Diane O’Connor; and Francois Ford and Rick Francois.
