The drill instructor called out the orders to the old soldiers, "Fall In, Attention, Left Face, Forward March." And march they did. This group of proud veterans were more than happy to oblige their drill instructor, Butch Strickler. Within about five steps they were marching like a bunch of just graduated from boot camp recruits. After the march to the grade school and cemetery for the wreath laying one veteran quipped, "Butch did a hell of a good job getting us into shape. Within five steps we were marching like we just completed basic training."
