Members of the Monticello High School FCCLA Chapter held their annual awards program on May 11th. Dylan Beckwith was chosen as the Outstanding Member of the Year. Dylan was also recognized for serving as a FCCLA State Officer this year.

Each chapter member was recognized for their participation in the chapter. Those members who received special recognition for their efforts received a gold FCCLA pin, including Kuenzi Aeberhard, David Ruegsegger, Emily Koch, Dylan Beckwith, Logan Marty, Nick Blumer, Casey Schwartzlow and Kallista Baebler.

The 2015-16 officer team received their officer pin. Serving as officers will be: Emily Koch and Kallista Baebler - Presidents; Casey Schwartzlow – Secretary; Dezmond Hanenberger - Treasurer; Claire Klossner - STAR Events Coordinator; Nick Blumer - Historian/Reporter.

Emily Koch, Dylan Beckwith and David Ruegsegger received recognition for their STAR Events participation. Nick Blumer received the award for being the top fundraiser. Emily Koch was recognized for serving as a FCCLA Region 6 representative.

Special thanks were given to the 2014-15 executive council including: Dylan Beckwith – President; Dezmond Hanenberger – Vice President; Kallista Baebler – Secretary; Courtney Leuzinger – Treasurer; Kuenzi Aeberhard - STAR Events Coordinator.

Lettering in FCCLA were Dylan Beckwith and Emily Koch. Senior FCCLA members were thanked for their participation and service to our FCCLA chapter. Seniors Dylan Beckwith, Lilly Blum, Kuenzi Aeberhard, Maddie Bartels and Thorin Croushore were awarded plaques for their three or more years of membership. Dylan Beckwith and Kuenzi Aeberhard were named as the recipients of the Monticello FCCLA scholarships.
