New Glarus Middle and High School FCCLA chapters attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in the Wisconsin Dells from Monday, 4/18-Wednesday, 4/20. There were a total of 29 students in attendance from New Glarus Middle and High School. Over the course of the three days, students attended breakout sessions, heard keynote speakers, gained leadership skills and competed in STAR Events. Students who attended, competed and received a medal are: Hallie Bartow (Bronze), Emily Bartow (Silver), Maci Carney (Bronze), Katherine Burgess (Silver), Kortney Peterson (Silver), Brooke Watrud (Silver), Kendra Wenger (Silver), Abby Marty (Silver), Peri Erickson (Silver), Francesca Schiro (Silver), Alexa Thayer (Silver), Zoe Moen (Silver), Aislin Crawford (Silver), Molly Molencamp (Silver), Kaylie Esser (Silver), Grace Barnaby (Bronze), Chloe Kramer (Silver), Matti Kirch (Silver and Voting Delegate), Kallie Ace (Voting Delegate), Karstyn Rossing (Gold), Bridget Craker (Regional Representative), Haiden Zimmerman (Silver and Regional Representative), Kaedi Gregory (Silver and Regional Representative), Madison Perkins, Olivia Woodmansee (State Presidential Candidate), Ben Yeiser (Voting Delegate), Matthew Jackson (Voting Delegate), Jacob Tetner, Jesse Tetner and Julie Martin (Middle and High School FCCLA Adviser).

We also had a total of seven students who qualified for Nationals: Matti Kirch, Abby Marty, Katherine Burgess, Kortney Peterson, Francesca Schiro, Chloe Kramer and Karstyn Rossing. Olivia Woodmansee also was sworn in as the 2016-2017 State FCCLA President.
