Joe Klein
Klein Promoted to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending
The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches is pleased to announce the promotion of Joe Klein to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. In his new role, Joe will be responsible for overseeing the bank's Commercial and Agricultural loan portfolio. He will also continue his role as a Commercial Lender in the Monroe market.
Joe has served 26 years in banking for the Monroe community, where he has performed various roles in both the lending and deposit sides of bank operations. He joined The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches in 2009 as a Vice President of Commercial Lending, and played a key role in opening the Monroe branch of The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches.
Outside of working, Joe serves as a Board Member for the Green County YMCA Foundation and for the Monroe Lions Club, where he is also a Life Member. Additionally, Joe is a Member of St. John's Church and serves on the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Board.

Marty promoted to Senior Vice President of Residential Lending
The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches is pleased to announce the promotion of Jance Marty, NMLS #713104, to Senior Vice President of Residential Lending. In his new role, Jance will be responsible for managing the residential lending group across the organization.
Jance has been in mortgage lending since 2001 and joined the lending team at The Bank of New Glarus® and Sugar River Bank Branches in November of 2008. During his time with the bank, Jance has handled commercial, residential, consumer, and Ag loan requests. He is responsible for a $75 million portfolio within the organization.
Jance earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking at UW – Madison in 2013.

Outside of work, Jance is the Treasurer and a Board Member for the New Glarus Youth Basketball Association. He also coaches his son's Football, Basketball and Baseball teams in New Glarus. Jance enjoys watching his kids play sports and going fishing with his wife.
