Senior Elizabeth Erb has been excited about science since middle school, recognizing her teachers for opening her mind to vast career opportunities in science.

Erb is participating in the Youth Apprenticeship Biotechnology Program at Belleville High School.

Additionally, she is enrolled in a college level biotechnology course one night a week and interviewed for, then accepted, a paid position as a research assistant at UW-Madison School of Civil/Environmental Engineering, mentored by Ph.D. candidate Pamela Camejo and Masters candidate Natalie Keene of the Noguera Research Group.
