Knights End Regular Season With a Win

The New Glarus Glarner Knights boys basketball team played at Lodi on February 20th. The Knights were at a 5-point deficit at the half, 30-35, and despite it being a very close game throughout, they lost. The final score was Lodi 68, New Glarus 64.
Max Parman led the Knights with 12 points, while Max Marty scored 11 points, and Jake Roth scored 10 points.
The Knights played at Marshall on February 23rd to close out their regular season. Marshall was leading at the half, 27-23, but the Knights battled back to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 58, Marshall 58.
AC Strok led New Glarus with 21 points, 4 of them being 3-pointers, while Max Parman scored 15 points and Ethan Friedrich scored 12 points.
The Knights finished in second place in the Capitol South, with an 8-2 conference record, and have been seeded #4 for the WIAA Division 3 Regional tournament. The Knights received a first round bye and will play on Friday, March 3rd, at a location yet to be determined, against the winner of the #5 Dodgeville vs #12 River Valley game.
