Wildcats Named Back-to-Back Conference Champs

The Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team played at Marshall on February 17th, winning 74-45.
Jack Erickson led the team with 20 points, while Andrew Ace scored 17 points and Kaden DeSmet scored 9 points.
On February 18th, the Wildcats played at Cambridge. The final score was Belleville 93, Cambridge 68.
Carter Scholey scored 23 points to lead Belleville, while Kaden DeSmet scored 19 points, Jack Erickson scored 14 points and Nathan Meier scored 12 points.
The Wildcats are now back-to-back conference champions in the Capitol South, have had 18 straight conference wins, and finished the season with an undefeated conference record. They are seeded #3 in Division 4, have received a first round bye, and will play on Friday, March 3rd at a yet to be determined location, against the winner of the #11 Parkview vs #6 Poynette game.
