Dear Editor,

The Fisheree was a success, thanks in part for a beautiful day. While the fish weren’t cooperating all that well, people came out and had a good time participating and in that very way supporting their community.

The Lions Club wants to especially recognize Ken Risley for the use of his two pellet stoves to keep us warm inside the shelter, Jeanne Gempeler for the use of a portable toilet, the volunteers/businesses that helped selling raffle tickets and the ones that helped that very day.
